School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Hartwell, Georgia

Anticipate a manageable caseload, likely 20 or fewer students, ensuring you have the time and energy to provide high-quality, individualized therapy. With a consistent 40-hour workweek, you’ll have both structure and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before the assignment begins)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Solid understanding of SLP support for students across various age groups, especially middle, high, and elementary levels
- Ability to work effectively within MTSS frameworks
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to optimize student outcomes
- Provide MTSS support at the elementary level
- Maintain detailed progress notes and timely documentation
- Participate in staff meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
