A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting in the Harpers Ferry, WV area. This contract position offers 35 hours per week during the normal school year calendar.
Qualified candidates must hold a valid West Virginia SLP License alongside West Virginia Teaching Certification, or alternatively, a West Virginia SLPA License. Experience working in school environments and familiarity with caseload management for K-12 students is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support communication development
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student performance
