Key Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Educator Certification required
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or a closely related field
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Confidence in collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students as part of a caring team
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and provide both direct and consultative interventions
- Maintain up-to-date records and document progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with school staff and families to support student success
- Support a manageable caseload of 40-45 elementary students plus 2 middle schoolers
- Participate actively in meetings, professional development, and collaborative initiatives
