School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Hallsville, Missouri
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing impactful support to young learners. This full-time position offers a balanced schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week and involves working in two dynamic educational environments: a special education preschool and an elementary school. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to preschool and elementary school students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and documenting speech and language disorders
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address unique student needs
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of assessments, sessions, and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adhering to all district, state, and federal regulations governing speech therapy services
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid SLP license, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with both preschool and elementary-aged children
- Ability to manage a split caseload across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment
