School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Grovetown, Georgia
Step into a pivotal role for the 2026/2027 school year supporting student communication and language development. As a contracted Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll provide vital speech and language services in an educational setting, ensuring students receive the interventions they need to succeed. This opportunity is full-time (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week) with the school-based caseload to be determined upon placement. While onsite presence is preferred, virtual arrangements may be possible in select circumstances.
Essential Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP license and/or educator certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in school-based environments is a plus
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ready to commit to a full-time, full-year contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in compliance with local and state standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough records and timely documentation in accordance with district protocols
