- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain before starting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellow applicants also considered
- Experience working in pediatric and/or school settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for a diverse student population
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services (group and individual) within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure effective carryover of strategies
- Document evaluations, ongoing therapy notes, and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as requested
