Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Gridley, CA

The ideal Speech-Language Pathologist should hold a valid California SLP license as well as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Experience or interest in school-based services and supervising SLPA staff is strongly preferred. You'll collaborate with educators and staff, use creative approaches to help students thrive, and have the opportunity to support and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California SLP license and CCC-SLP
- Experience in schools or educational settings
- Comfort providing in-person therapy and evaluations
- Interest in or experience with SLPA supervision
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services for assigned classrooms
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to support student needs
- Provide guidance and supervision to SLPAs as needed
