Working Monday through Friday according to the school calendar, you’ll work within a collaborative educational environment, making a tangible difference in students’ communication skills and academic journeys. This contract position runs from August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure by the start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience a plus, though all motivated clinicians encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage evolving caseloads and collaborate with educators and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and documentation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely records for district and internal credentialing standards
- Adhere to all district and agency requirements, including drug screening and fingerprinting
