Make an impact supporting students by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to this contract opportunity beginning August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Three skilled SLPs are needed for rewarding placements at innovative educational settings serving students aged 3–21. Each assignment offers its own unique blend of teamwork, meaningful engagement, and access to excellent professional resources.

Available Assignments:

  • Washington Center, a self-contained school, serves medically fragile and profoundly impaired students. Ideal applicants bring a strong background in AAC devices and a compassionate approach to supporting students and their families. Collaborative spirit is essential, as you’ll work with another SLP in a highly supportive and well-resourced environment.
  • Chandler Creek Elementary and Crestview Elementary feature a caseload split between two welcoming elementary campuses in Greer. Each site has an experienced SLP alongside you, fostering shared ideas and continuous collaboration.
  • Welcome Elementary and additional sites support a varied caseload: three days per week at Welcome Elementary (with another SLP), in addition to providing services for Greenville’s virtual academy and another site to be confirmed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SC SLP License and SC Educator Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive AAC knowledge (especially for Washington Center assignment)
  • School-based experience highly valued
  • SLP-CFs may be considered; SLPAs unfortunately not eligible

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized therapy to diverse student populations
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and other SLPs
  • Maintaining accurate documentation aligned with school and state guidelines
  • Participating in ongoing training and utilizing provided resources
