Position: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress and communicate findings regularly
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Provide direct therapy to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is mandatory for SLP candidates
- Experience working in schools or educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy to diverse student needs and learning environments
