Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Indiana licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for Indiana SLP-CFY
- Experience with school-based speech therapy, preferably with K-4th grade students
- Skilled in IEP and report writing, as well as conducting thorough evaluations
- Familiarity with participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educational staff
- Understanding of Medicaid billing requirements for school services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings with accuracy
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with families and teaching staff
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, families, and support personnel
