Multiple full-time roles (37.5 hrs/week) are available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with likely pre/post planning days included.
Assignments:
- Washington Center – Serve a self-contained population (ages 3-21) where students are medically fragile and profoundly impaired. Deep knowledge of AAC devices and a compassionate mindset are vital. You’ll work alongside another seasoned SLP.
- Chandler Creek & Crestview Elementary (Greer, SC) – Split your schedule between two elementary campuses, collaborating with additional SLPs at each site.
- Welcome Elementary, Greenville’s Virtual Academy, & TBD – Full-time, split between Welcome Elementary, virtual-only students, and a third site based on enrollment numbers.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid South Carolina SLP License and Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices required for Washington Center
- Prior school-based experience highly valued
- SLP-CFs may be considered; SLPAs not currently eligible
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with school teams and families
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain documentation and compliance with state/federal regulations
