Speech-Language Pathologists play a vital role in helping students communicate effectively, participate confidently in the classroom, and achieve academic success. In this rewarding school-based position, you will provide essential therapy services that support student growth and create meaningful educational outcomes.


Qualifications and Requirements


• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
• North Carolina Department of Public Instruction licensure for school-based practice may be required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Previous pediatric or school experience preferred


Duties and Responsibilities


• Evaluate students for speech, language, articulation, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goals
• Provide direct speech-language services to students in school settings
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and special education teams
• Complete required documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
