Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-4th grade students.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain detailed reports.
- Participate in meetings with educators, parents, and other team members to discuss progress and goals.
- Perform Medicaid billing to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or current SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong skills in IEP writing and report documentation.
- Ability to manage efficient evaluation procedures and multidisciplinary communication.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing processes related to speech therapy.
