School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Greenfield, Indiana
Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication development in a collaborative educational setting. A contract opportunity is available for an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students during the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll provide comprehensive speech-language services with a strong emphasis on assessments, while partnering closely with a colleague to serve nonverbal life skills students. The caseload consists of roughly 50–70 students, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact through individualized care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with fellow SLPs.
- Experience or interest in supporting students with complex communication needs, particularly those who are nonverbal.
- Commitment to cultivating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and contribute to team assessments.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on evaluation results.
- Collaborate with another SLP to support life skills students with significant communication needs.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
