Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Indianapolis, IN
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) position is available for the upcoming contract school year from January 5, 2026, through May 22, 2026. This role is based at an elementary school setting serving preschool through 8th-grade students, primarily focusing on PreK to 3rd grade. The position offers a caseload-based model with approximately 63 students and includes some consult-only cases and reevaluations for potential dismissal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings
- Provide consultative support to educational staff and families to facilitate student progress
- Complete all required documentation and regularly monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams within the school environment
Qualifications:
- Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license (mandatory)
- Indiana Teaching Certificate (required)
- Experience working in school settings, specifically with pediatrics and early childhood populations
- Strong skills in teletherapy and healthcare-related speech-language pathology are a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload and deliver comprehensive therapy and assessment services
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and background check prior to start date
Location: Indianapolis metro area, Indiana
