What You’ll Bring:
- Current, valid SLP certification and licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience in school settings, ideally with middle school-aged students
- Strong ability to deliver therapy services, both individually and in groups
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to cultivating a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide tailored speech-language therapy to meet each student’s unique needs
- Write and maintain thorough evaluation reports and progress documentation
- Develop and implement IEPs, aligning with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate actively with teachers and staff to support students’ communication goals
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing resources and updates
