Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and certification appropriate for school practice
- Prior experience delivering speech and language services in an educational environment, preferably at the middle school level
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with staff, students, and families
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of approximately 59 students with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on IEPs
- Maintain timely documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ academic and social success
- Engage in ongoing communication with school staff to optimize student outcomes
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students requiring speech-language support
