Make a meaningful difference each day by supporting elementary students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CF) at multi-school sites. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, working with a caseload of approximately 40 K-5th grade students. You'll be based entirely onsite, collaborating with educators and families to nurture student success through improved communication and language skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or strong Clinical Fellowship applicant
- Active South Carolina LLR and Educator Certificate (required prior to the start date)
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly working with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-5th grade students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Deliver therapy, consultation, and collaboration with teachers and families onsite
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team efforts as needed
- Maintain records in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
