A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a summer contract position in Grayslake, IL, serving students from Early Childhood through 12th grade. This in-person role is available for the ESY (Extended School Year) session, running from June 15, 2026, through July 26, 2026. The position requires working Monday through Thursday, from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM, with extended hours until 3:15 PM on the first and last days.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with students from Early Childhood to 12th grade
- Ability to provide direct therapy services in a school setting
- Must be able to work in-person; remote work is not available
- Candidates with SLPA or Clinical Fellow status are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication needs during the ESY period
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state guidelines
