Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Gray Court, SC
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing impactful speech-language services in an elementary school setting. This assignment, starting as soon as possible and extending through May 2027, offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll be working onsite near Gray Court, SC, with the potential for teletherapy (Voco) options to be explored as the assignment progresses. We are seeking candidates who have developed expertise across school-based and pediatric speech-language pathology. Those holding CCC certification or currently pursuing their CFY will be considered, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with relevant experience are welcome to apply. The assignment will focus on elementary-aged children, making pediatric and educational experience especially valuable.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (SLP applicants); applicable SLPA certification for assistants
- Valid state credential/licensure appropriate for speech-language services in schools
- Experience with pediatric and elementary student caseloads in school or healthcare settings
- Teletherapy (Voco) experience is a plus, though not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize and document intervention plans effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and interventions to elementary students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Conduct assessments and provide progress updates
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
