Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Grain Valley, MO

Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Hold a current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and schedule effectively
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy, both group and individual, to elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans according to students’ needs and IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Document progress and maintain accurate case files in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Provide resources and support to educators and families for carryover and generalization of communication skills
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with school staff to foster a positive learning environment
