Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an SLPA program
- Valid California SLP or SLPA license/certification (or eligibility for CFY supervision, if applicable)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) highly valued
- Experience providing speech and language services to K-12 students
- Pediatric, educational, and/or healthcare SLP or SLPA background preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a full-time (1.0 FTE) caseload across diverse student needs
- Ready to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student learning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions, adapting approaches for various age groups (K-12)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to develop student-centered goals
- Provide consultative support to teachers and families for carryover of speech and language goals
