Pediatric Speech Pathology - Palmdale, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Palmdale, CA, with a contract running from March through the end of the school year in June, with options to continue through summer and the next school year. This role involves supporting K-6th grade students with moderate to severe caseloads, working on-site at one school site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-6th grade students with moderate to severe communication needs
- Deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric caseloads within a school setting
- Collaborate with two other full-time therapists on campus to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in ongoing progress monitoring and documentation in compliance with school guidelines
- Attend Zoom interviews Monday through Friday for the hiring process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in school-based SLP settings or pediatric healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy and contract fieldwork (CFY) considered a plus
- Skilled in service delivery for pediatric caseloads including moderate to severe disorders
- Ability to work full-time hours on-site, supporting students in a structured school day
Schedule:
- Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- School hours typically from 7:30-8:00 AM start to 2:45-3:45 PM end
- On-site position, no teletherapy for this role
