A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a K-12 school setting in Mesa, AZ. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to pediatric students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Provide direct therapy services in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred.
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
