This contract opportunity in Glen Burnie, MD, is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services within school settings. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time roles, supporting preschool through middle school students with speech and language needs.
Location: Glen Burnie, MD (on-site assignments within community preschool and elementary/middle school locations in the Baltimore area)
Job Type: Contract
Start Dates: January 9, 2026 (rolling coverage), February 16, 2026 – May 29, 2026 (with potential extension into Extended School Year in July), March 16, 2026 – June 18, 2026 (with potential extension into Extended School Year in July)
Hours:
- Two full-time positions (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
- One part-time position (30 hours/week, Monday–Thursday with option to add Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to preschool (community schools) and elementary (PreK–5) students, as well as middle school (grades 6–8) students
- Provide itinerant services across multiple school locations, including Magnolia and Prospect Mill Elementary Schools and Aberdeen Middle School
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) supporting student services in secondary settings
- Comply with district requirements including background checks and credentialing processes
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience working within school environments preferred
- Ability to supervise SLPAs is required for secondary school assignments
- Completion of mandatory background check and employment verification under House Bill 486
Additional Details:
- Candidates will be asked to complete a prescreen interview; availability between 9–11 a.m. or 2–3 p.m. Eastern Time is preferred but flexible
- Assignments include community preschool settings and multiple school sites on itinerant schedules
