This position offers an opportunity for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide essential services within school settings in the Baltimore area, MD. The roles include full-time and part-time itinerant positions serving preschool, elementary, and middle school students across multiple locations, including community preschools, Magnolia Elementary, Prospect Mill Elementary, and Aberdeen Middle School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to preschool students in community settings and elementary (PreK–5) and secondary (6–8) school populations.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) supporting service delivery.
- Work itinerantly across assigned schools, providing direct intervention and collaborating with school staff.
- Maintain compliance with district policies, including background checks and credentialing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC).
- Ability to complete House Bill 486 requirements, including district background check and fingerprinting.
- Experience working with a diverse student population across early childhood through middle school.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload across multiple locations.
- Commitment to collaborative practice within educational settings.
Work Schedule and Locations:
- Full-time positions: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Part-time position: 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (option to expand to 5 days).
- Itinerant service delivery at community preschools, Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week), Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days/week), and Aberdeen Middle School.
- Start dates vary between January and March 2026, with contracts extending through May and optional summer Extended School Year (ESY) coverage.
This contract role offers meaningful engagement supporting student communication development in a dynamic educational environment.
