Make an impact by supporting elementary students’ communication needs while working in an engaging educational environment. Two full-time contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll work in-person across two elementary sites with a diverse K-12 caseload, typically ranging from 48-60 students each.
Your expertise will be essential as you help foster students' language, speech, and communication growth for successful learning and socialization.
Key qualifications:
- Valid WA State SLP License and ESA certification
- Completed OSPI fingerprinting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings and delivering speech-language services to elementary-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy services in both group and individual sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies and legal guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in the educational planning process
- Support students across two school sites, adapting services to fit varying caseload needs
