Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California (CA SLP License)
- ASHA Certification strongly preferred, with school-based experience a plus
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged caseloads
- Capability to provide both in-person and teletherapy services considered an asset
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Caseloads include:
- One position focused on PreK students, providing itinerant services across the district
- One position working directly within an elementary school setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Deliver services in compliance with district policies and state regulations
- Utilize teletherapy options effectively when applicable to enhance service delivery
