A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Concord, NC, serving a school setting on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to approximately 25 K-8 students.
- Manage a caseload of roughly 55 students with general speech needs.
- Support 10 students utilizing AAC devices.
- Deliver services to 2 self-contained classrooms.
- Collaborate with the lead Occupational Therapist through co-treatment sessions.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, typically with 2-4 students per group.
- Focus on both speech-only and comprehensive speech therapy services for around 17 students.
- Maintain documentation and progress reports as required by school policies and regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP.
- Proven ability to manage diverse caseloads including AAC device users.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills for interdisciplinary co-treatment.
- Familiarity with providing therapy to self-contained classrooms.
