Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid speech-language license for Indiana
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills for managing a large caseload
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Comfortable working with or overseeing an SLA
- Experience or proficiency with virtual service delivery (if applying for VOCO)
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services for elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Supervise and coordinate activities with an assigned Speech-Language Assistant
- Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and participate in meetings as needed
- Adapt therapy to meet in-person and virtual needs, ensuring consistency of care
