This contract position supports students in grades K–8 across two closely situated campuses: an elementary and an intermediate/middle school. With a manageable caseload of approximately 90 students, you’ll play a vital role in fostering communication development and academic success in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure (Indiana)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in K–8 or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with individualized needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students in elementary and intermediate/middle school settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records, write progress reports, and contribute to IEPs
- Flexibly split your workday between two buildings (conveniently located across a parking lot), setting your own schedule to accommodate student and school needs
