In this full-time, onsite contract position, you’ll provide direct and consultative speech-language services for a caseload of approximately 40 students in grades 11 and 12. You'll join an energetic team of educators and specialists dedicated to positive student outcomes, carrying out comprehensive evaluations, goal-driven therapy sessions, and individualized education plan (IEP) support. Collaboration is key, working closely with educational staff, administrators, and families to empower students at a pivotal point in their academic journeys.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Texas SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Experience supporting high school students highly valued
  • Effective communication, strong organizational abilities, and proficient documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat speech and language disorders in 11th and 12th-grade students
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
  • Work closely with educational teams and families to support academic and social success
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
  • Complete documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
