Speech Language Pathologist in Garden City, MI
Make an impact on young learners as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive school-based setting near Garden City, MI. The position offers the opportunity to work with students ages 4 to 15, providing speech and language services that help them thrive both academically and socially. This contract assignment begins on November 26 and continues through February 10, 2027. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active SLP licensure in Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience supporting children in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions, adapting interventions for diverse needs
- Support inclusive classroom environments through consultative services
