What you'll need to bring:
- Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds
What you'll do:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills in K-5 students
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support each child's educational progress
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across three days each week (21 hours/week)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
