School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Galt, California

You’ll work closely with a caseload of eight students—six attending in-person classes and two served through Home Hospital services—while also consulting with three SDC classrooms. The role involves conducting approximately 40-50 assessments each year, providing expertise as an integral part of the educational team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) credential or eligibility
- Experience with school-based or pediatric populations preferred
- Proficient in conducting speech and language assessments
- Confident collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing classroom consultations
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work with both in-person students and consultative support for programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students on your caseload
- Complete comprehensive assessments, create detailed reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate progress and recommendations to teachers, families, and staff
- Consult with SDC classrooms to support broader student language and communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
