Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state license or eligibility for MD SLP licensure
- Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students across a range of grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support according to IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, families, and other related service providers
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-based initiatives
- Provide resources and support to staff and parents to improve students’ communication outcomes
