School Speech Language Pathologist - Friendswood, TX
Step into a dynamic school setting as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing direct therapy and consultative services to a diverse caseload. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working within school settings and supporting K-12 students preferred
- Strong ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
- Proficiency with IEP management and school-based documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and document findings
- Develop, implement, and revise IEPs in partnership with educators and parents
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for a variety of communication and language disorders
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student success
