A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide direct in-person speech therapy services for a 13-year-old student in Bridgton, ME. This unique opportunity involves delivering compensation services previously managed by a school district in Virginia, now requiring local support for consistent therapy provision. The student’s current district will arrange a classroom or clinic space for therapy sessions to take place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide approximately 4 hours of individualized speech therapy to the student per week.
- Deliver services likely scheduled outside standard school hours (mornings or afternoons).
- Collaborate with educational staff and potentially other service providers including occupational therapy and special education.
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress to the involved districts.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
