In this role, you’ll enjoy a schedule of Monday through Friday with 37.5 hours per week. Caseload specifics will be determined according to your expertise, supporting a diverse range of student needs. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working with K-12 student populations in schools preferred
- Skilled in implementing and troubleshooting assistive listening devices and technologies
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively with other educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Integrate assistive listening technology into therapy plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records, reports, and documentation according to school and state guidelines
