Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Current North Carolina SLP License
- Previous experience providing school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, interventions, and therapy sessions to students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
- Provide resources and support to students, staff, and families on speech and language development
