Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Franklin, WI
Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity focuses on providing essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload ranging from 4-year-olds through 8th grade, with primary responsibilities centered around 5th to 8th grade students. The position is onsite only, offering the chance to make a tangible impact within the school environment while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Background in pediatric speech therapy and IEP process is highly valued
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation, treatment, and consultation services for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special educators, and other service providers
- Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage with parents and guardians to support student progress and promote carryover of strategies
This full-time role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, allowing you to immerse yourself in a supportive school environment over the entire academic year. You’ll help empower students to reach their fullest potential—offering both professional growth and meaningful connections.
