This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in an elementary school setting, located in Franklin Park, Illinois. The role is a leave replacement contract extending through the end of the current school year, providing support within a self-contained early childhood center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized speech and language therapy services to students in a self-contained early childhood center.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Perform assessments and track student outcomes to ensure effective therapy interventions.
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and district policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement through ISBE.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with early childhood populations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a student-centered focus.
- Must be available to work onsite; this role does not support virtual arrangements.
