A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary-level Early Childhood Center in Franklin Park, IL. This contract role serves as a leave replacement and extends through the end of the school year (May 22, 2026). The assignment involves working on-site in a self-contained setting within a public school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in a self-contained early childhood environment
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and staff
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings, especially with young children in self-contained classrooms
- Ability and commitment to provide services exclusively on-site (no virtual options)
