A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This role offers a full-time 40 hours per week schedule, starting on August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, located in Florence, CO.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to enhance students' communication abilities and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to improve speech, language, and communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
  • Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently
