A K-12 school located in Pueblo, CO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to a caseload of 40-60 students, primarily ranging from K-8th grade
- Collaborate with two existing SLPs currently serving the school site to ensure comprehensive support for all students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions that align with educational goals
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other team members to promote student success
Qualifications:
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required; preferred certification is Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Colorado
- Experience working with K-8 student populations in school settings is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-60 students while maintaining quality care
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week
