School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

A school district in Cross City, FL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity offers a flexible 2–3 day per week schedule and a caseload consisting primarily of upper elementary, middle, and high school students.

The caseload is approximately 60 students, with many students receiving consultative or group-based speech and language services. Candidates must hold an active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech and language disorders
· Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
· Provide direct, group, and consultative speech and language services
· Support students in grades 4–12 with a variety of communication needs
· Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
· Participate in IEP meetings and assist with developing appropriate student goals
· Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required school records

EXPERIENCE:

· Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
· Experience working with upper elementary, middle, and high school students is preferred
· Comfortable managing a caseload that includes consultative and group-based services

EDUCATION & LICENSURE:

· Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License required
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
· Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based SLP practice

· Possible Meetings Through: June 18, 2027
