A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 educational setting serving diverse student populations. Assignments are located in Southeast Florida, primarily in Port St. Lucie, with job durations extending through the current school year until June 2, 2026. This role provides the opportunity to support students from Pre-K through grade 8 across different campuses with a variety of special education needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Serve as a resource for communication strategies within the school environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities relevant to speech-language pathology.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
- Experience working with students in school settings, ideally within special education environments serving Pre-K through grade 8.
