We are seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists to provide comprehensive services in an engaging school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers up to 35 hours weekly (7 hours per day) and is conveniently located within a single campus in the Golden Gate City or Immokalee area near Fort Myers, FL.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Prior school-based experience with K-12 students strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide direct therapy and complete thorough evaluations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Able to fulfill state-mandated fingerprinting and background check processes (prior prints in AHCA Clearinghouse may be valid)
- Available for on-site services only (virtual placements are not permitted)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions tailored to individual student needs across K-12 age groups
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services and progress reports
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and participation
