- Experience in school settings delivering speech and language therapy, including conducting comprehensive evaluations and documentation.
- Confidence working with diverse caseloads across elementary to high school age groups.
- Ability to navigate timely credentialing, including completion of FBI-level fingerprints; prior clearances may expedite your start.
- Commitment to on-site, in-person therapy (remote/VOCO services not included).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic support.
- Serve at one school site—either in Golden Gate City or Immokalee—integrating fully with the local school community.
- Maintain records and documentation in compliance with district and state standards.
The assignment offers up to 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), with flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling throughout the school year (August through May).
