Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fort Myers, FL
This opportunity seeks licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF) to provide services within K-12 schools in Fort Myers, FL. Assignments are available across multiple locations, with most openings in the East Zone near Lehigh Acres. The role is a full-time contract position for the current school year, from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, with potential part-time availability.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Eligibility for SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CF (Clinical Fellowship)
- Supervision experience is a plus; Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may be considered if supervised by licensed SLPs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assessments and interventions to K-12 students with varying caseloads depending on the assigned school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment strategies to support student communication goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
Location:
- Fort Myers, FL, multiple school sites including Lehigh Acres and Lexington Middle School (southernmost location near Naples)
