Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) targeting mild to moderate speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and caseload management, estimated at approximately 60 students.
- Travel between multiple school locations within the district to provide itinerant services.
- Adhere to all applicable state licensing and educational regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings, especially with mild to moderate communication challenges.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with students, families, and school personnel.
Position Details:
- Location: Middleburg, FL (with itinerant travel between district schools)
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours per day
- Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
